Things That Made Me Happy | September #3

I had planned for this week to be a quiet week, but as is always the case with me, I ended up having a really busy week which meant spending a lot of money that I didn't have!

Monday
On Monday morning I went to my Zumba class which I haven't been able to go to for ages due to work/other commitments. I used to go at least twice a week and so have really missed it lately, but it was great to go back, even if I did ache a lot after!

Tuesday
I had a day off on Tuesday which meant that I was super productive doing little 'odd jobs' that I had been putting off doing. Also, I got my haircut which was much needed as I hadn't had it done since my graduation!

Wednesday
I had the house to myself in the evening which was really nice as I needed the peace and quiet after a busy day. I cooked dinner, made a green tea and drunk it whilst watching 'Coronation Street'. I don't even care that I sound like a 70 year old woman, it was the perfect night in.

Thursday
I met up with one of my favourite people, Lucy, on Thursday. We both lead really busy lives so it can be difficult to find a time when we're both free, but we managed to fix a date and had a lovely meal and catch up at Pizza Express.

Friday
My graduation photos finally arrived! It's been about 9 weeks since I graduated and I was supposed to receive them after 6, but there had been a problem with them so there was a slight delay. I was quite apprehensive about how they would look as I'm not a massive fan of photos of myself and this is such a special one. However, I'm quite pleased with how they have turned out.

Saturday
It was the registration weekend at my new uni so I went down to Canterbury to officially register as a masters student at the university of Kent. It still hasn't really sunk in that I'm going to be doing a masters, but it was fun to look around the campus and see where I'll be studying from next week. Also, I had a walk around the city which is really beautiful and had a really lovely lunch in a hipster cafe.

Sunday
On Monday, it's Emil's birthday, but I won't get to see him as he'll be back in Norwich and I'm working all day, so we decided to celebrate it together on the Sunday. We had such a lovely day and went for a classic pub lunch where we ate our weight in food. It was really lovely to be able to finally give him his presents as I'd been so excited about buying them all and spent so much time wrapping them up.

What's been making you happy this week? Let me know in the comments below.
