September Favourites

Sunday, 2 October 2016

I know I pretty much say this every month, but how quickly did September go? I was dreading September because I knew I had a really busy month lined up at work and now it's flown by and October is looking equally as busy! Anyway, here's what I've been loving throughout September.

Having used the Original Primer Potion from Urban Decay for a couple of years, I wanted to give Eden a try after using a sample and loving it. It's so easy to apply and leaves a nude matte finish that you could wear on it's own. However, I always apply an eye shadow on top and it holds it in place all day.

I bought this for my bridesmaid make up back in August (see the look I created here), but I've been wearing it lots since too. I've never used a pigment before and I know it can be used as a bit of a highlight too, but I've been loving wearing it as an eye shadow. It's such a gorgeous shade and when worn on top of the Urban Decay Potion Primer, it stays in place all day.

I love The Body Shop body butters and always have one on the go. Last year, in the advent calendar from The Body Shop, I received a small bottle of the Fuji Green Tea body lotion and absolutely loved the smell. However, I'd never got round to purchasing a full sized product of this scent - until this month. It's such a refreshing scent and as with all The Body Shop body butters, it's so hydrating and leaves my skin feeling soft all day.

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you'll have seen me bang on about how much I'm loving LUSH at the moment as they've recently launched this years Halloween range. This month I bought the Sparkly Pumpkin which I absolutely love (I could have bought the whole range, but my bank balance said otherwise!) The Sparkly Pumpkin is a bubble bar, which are my favourite products at LUSH, it smells beautiful and creates such lovely bubbles - what's not to love?

I have been absolutely loving The Line of Duty this month. It was originally a BBC, 3 part series, but is now available on Netflix. For those who don't know, it's about the police anti corruption unit and it follows them as they try to uncover bent police officers. It's sooo gripping, that I've already finished the first series - I can't recommend it enough.

What have you been loving this month?
