March Favourites

Sunday, 2 April 2017

March has been a really tough month for me, I’ve been working really long hours which has meant my blog has suffered as a result so apologies about that. However, I’ve been living for the weekends and ensuring I make the most of Saturdays and Sundays.

I recently reviewed this on my blog, so you can read the full review here. However, having been a real sceptic of these cosmetic sponges, I am now a convert and have been loving this one from Real Techniques this month. I use it for concealer and it blends it so well into my skin, leaving my make up looking more flawless.

This is another product I reviewed on my blog. It’s a really creamy, long lasting eye shadow stick, in a gorgeous taupe / bronze colour which means it’s super versatile for a variety of make up looks. As it has been so busy at work, I’ve found myself just applying this to my eyes rather than bothering with blending together different eyeshadows.

I love this palette (this also featured on my blog a few weeks ago, there’s a theme to this post!) and I haven’t stopped using it since I bought it. It’s very out of my comfort zone as I’m not very good at experimenting with different types of make up, but I have really noticed a difference in my complexion when I use this palette. It really does colour correct the bags under my eyes and the areas of redness on my face. It’s super easy to use and blend, you must give this a try!

4./Hooped earrings
These earrings were originally bought from Claire’s Accessories. However, there’s no way I could find a link for these as I bought them when I was about 13 when being a chav with hooped earrings and scraped back hair was a good look! However, being the hoarder that I am, I never got round to throwing them away. I rediscovered them earlier this month and have been loving wearing them throughout March – I just have to ensure I don’t scrape my hair back as I definitely don’t want to relive my ‘chavvy’ days!

5./Riverdale
Another month, another favourite TV series. Admittedly, I haven’t been able to watch as much of this as I’d have liked what with working late most evenings, but when I have been able to watch it, it’s been so good. I know this has been a really popular one and without giving too much away, it’s set in a town in America, centering around a high school. In the first episode, a student dies, but all is not how it seems and different stories start to unfold! It really is good, it’s quite light hearted at times and really gripping at others – I really recommend it!

What have you been loving this month?
