A Day Out To Canterbury

Sunday, 12 October 2014

As many of you will know, I have recently started my masters at the University of Kent, in Canterbury. A couple of weekends ago, I had to go down and register. As this only took about an hour, Emil and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to explore the city of Canterbury. I'm living at home still, so won't be spending much time in the city, but having heard how beautiful it is, I couldn't help but explore it with my camera. We had a lovely day walking through the cobbled streets and stopped for lunch at a really cute, hipster cafe. After lunch, we did a bit of shopping and then found ourselves in another hipster cafe, eating red velvet cake. Can you tell that my favourite thing at the moment is cute, little, independent cafes? (Hence my obsession with Cafe No.33 in Norwich). After eating the most delicious cake, we headed home. I really do love Canterbury and it's such a shame that I won't have much time this year to explore it a bit more, having to commute 3 days a week means that I don't really have the energy to make the commute again at the weekend.

  1. Hey hey, you know, this is where I live. You must pay us a visit!

    1. That would be lovely! I'd love to meet Luke(:

  2. Ah it looks like you had a great day. That cake looks so yummy! Congratulations on starting your masters, that's something I'd really like to do x
