The Body Shop | Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream Review

Tuesday, 26 January 2016

I was recommended the Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream by fellow blogger Alice (The Velvet Black) and as an avid fan of The Body Shop I couldn't resist, so I decided to treat myself to it whilst Christmas shopping and I think I may finally have found a BB cream that I absolutely love.

The coverage on this isn't great, if you're looking for something that is high coverage then this isn't for you. However, for me it's fine for an everyday BB cream for work as I don't want anything to thick on my face anyway. It smooths my uneven skin tone and covers any redness well. Any other blemishes that I have, I cover up with concealer.

2./Staying Power
I never wear this product with a primer as for work I find its too much. However, I don't find that a primer is really needed anyway, it lasts well throughout the day. By the end of the day it has oxidised a bit, but it doesn't leave me looking patchy like some other BB creams have in the past. I definitely think it's the most long lasting BB cream I've tried.

This is quite a light BB cream, I don't feel like it's clogging up my pores when I blend it into my skin which is always a plus! It's really lightweight so I don't even notice that it is on my skin, which is something that really puts me off wearing foundation everyday.

At £8.50 I think this is a really good BB cream, it does exactly what it says on the tin and it doesn't break the bank, so you can't go far wrong!

I must admit this is the one thing I'm not a massive fan of with this BB cream as it has quite a strong scent which could be the tea tree, personally, I can look past it, but others might not be able to.

The Body Shop offers three shades of this BB cream and I wear 01 light which is prefect for my skin tone, however, I can imagine with only three shades, some people may struggle to find a shade that suits them. Having said that, I'm loving this BB cream and can definitely see my repurchasing it very soon, I really do recommend it!
