Spring Wishlist

Sunday, 20 March 2016

I'm definitely looking forward to saying goodbye to Winter and welcoming in the Spring and the fashion that comes with it. I thought I'd share a few bits that are on my wishlist for the next few months!

I love this style of top, they're so easy to throw on with a pair of jeans / skirt when you can't be bothered, but they're great to dress up too!

I am in love with Mom jeans at the moment, they look so comfy - I can't wait to get my hands on some.
I have a denim Pinafore dress from Topshop and wear it all the time, I think a cord one would be perfect for work. They're so cute and easy to style!

How stunning are these trainers? I've wanted them for ages, but I'm really struggling to get my size! I think they would look so good teamed with Mom jeans for a Spring look.
UPDATE since writing this post, I have finally managed to get my hands on some. I found my size when I was in Liverpool last weekend and couldn't resist - they're so beautiful and so comfy at the same time!

I've been after a black skirt like this for ages, one that I can dress up for work, but also wear at the weekends with a nice top.

I think Bomber jackets are perfect for Spring, easy to throw on when it's a chilly, but not too thick for when the Sun is shining. I've wanted one for ages and am determined to get one soon!

February Favourites

Sunday, 6 March 2016

February has been a very tough month for me so I'm glad to see the back of it! I don't have much to share with you this month unfortunately, but I thought I'd share the few bits I have been loving.

I have fallen in love with this mascara throughout February. When I first got this mascara, I was a little unsure about it, because the applicator was so small and not what I was used to at all. I didn't see how such a small brush could make such a huge difference to my lashes, but it really does! This mascara lengthens, volumizes and curles my lashes all in one, without making leaving any 'clumpy' bits of product on my lashes. It does such a good job, that I've stopped wearing eye liner on my upper lid as the mascara provides enough definition to my eyes on its own for an everyday look. I can't recommend this mascara enough!

Another product from MAC (this isn't a sponsored post - promise!) that I've been loving, is this lipstick from MAC in the shade 'Angel'. I was after more of a subtle colour for an everyday look, with an undertone of pink and this one ticks all the boxes. It's perfect for when I want to complete my look with a lipstick, but don't want it looking too bold.

I recently went to Marrakech, Morrocco (read about it here) and as we were only allowed hand luggage, I had to stock up on all my travel sized products in Boots. I'd never tried any products from Aussie, so when I saw their travel sized shampoo and conditioner, I thought I'd give it a try and I've fallen in love with them. Not only do they smell incredible, they leave my hair feeling so soft, nourished and clean for a couple of days. I'm definitely going to start using the full sized versions now!

4./Making a Murderer
I know I'm slightly behind on this one, but I've been really enjoying Making a Murderer this month. I haven't got very far through the series (so no spoilers please!), but it's sooo interesting, I don't think it will take me long to watch all the episodes! Having studied a masters in forensic psychology, there is so much of my degree that I am able to apply to it, which makes it even more interesting for me! Also, the fact that it's a documentary makes it more gripping, but it does mean I have to stop myself from googling it to get all the answers!

What have you been loving throughout February? Let me know in the comments below.
