February Favourites

Sunday, 6 March 2016

February has been a very tough month for me so I'm glad to see the back of it! I don't have much to share with you this month unfortunately, but I thought I'd share the few bits I have been loving.

I have fallen in love with this mascara throughout February. When I first got this mascara, I was a little unsure about it, because the applicator was so small and not what I was used to at all. I didn't see how such a small brush could make such a huge difference to my lashes, but it really does! This mascara lengthens, volumizes and curles my lashes all in one, without making leaving any 'clumpy' bits of product on my lashes. It does such a good job, that I've stopped wearing eye liner on my upper lid as the mascara provides enough definition to my eyes on its own for an everyday look. I can't recommend this mascara enough!

Another product from MAC (this isn't a sponsored post - promise!) that I've been loving, is this lipstick from MAC in the shade 'Angel'. I was after more of a subtle colour for an everyday look, with an undertone of pink and this one ticks all the boxes. It's perfect for when I want to complete my look with a lipstick, but don't want it looking too bold.

I recently went to Marrakech, Morrocco (read about it here) and as we were only allowed hand luggage, I had to stock up on all my travel sized products in Boots. I'd never tried any products from Aussie, so when I saw their travel sized shampoo and conditioner, I thought I'd give it a try and I've fallen in love with them. Not only do they smell incredible, they leave my hair feeling so soft, nourished and clean for a couple of days. I'm definitely going to start using the full sized versions now!

4./Making a Murderer
I know I'm slightly behind on this one, but I've been really enjoying Making a Murderer this month. I haven't got very far through the series (so no spoilers please!), but it's sooo interesting, I don't think it will take me long to watch all the episodes! Having studied a masters in forensic psychology, there is so much of my degree that I am able to apply to it, which makes it even more interesting for me! Also, the fact that it's a documentary makes it more gripping, but it does mean I have to stop myself from googling it to get all the answers!

What have you been loving throughout February? Let me know in the comments below.
