Transitioning to Autumnal Make Up

Tuesday, 11 October 2016

As the weather changes, so does some of the make up I wear. With winter comes heavier eye make up and bolder lips. Whilst I keep most of my face make up the same (I just use lighter tones for the winter), my eyes and lips are the make up I switch up the most.

I love this liquid liner, it's so easy to apply and stays in place all day. However, I find a black eye liner can be a bit heavy for the summer months so I always look forward to cracking it out in the winter for some extra definition.

I tend to only use this MAC black eye kohl along my water line in the winter months. I prefer to use a softer brown during the summer for a more natural look.

Although I use this palette throughout the year, I use different shades depending on the season. During the winter I like to use 'Baby' as a base shadow and then 'Punk' in the outer corner and through the crease. It's the perfect pairing for the coming months.

I love berry toned and deeper Lipsticks for this time of year, with this one from MAC being my favourite. I wrote a post on my favourite Autumnal Lipsticks, so make sure you check it out here.

Let me know if you'd like to see a 'look' with this make up and let me know what you use for your winter make up.
